They couldn't very well have said "water-flavored" water, "tasteless" would have been tasteless, yet nobody ever wants to call their product "plain." So Poland Spring now finds itself selling "Original Flavor" water.
For the sake of insight, several bottled-water companies out Mineral Wells, Texas way (the most famous being Crazy Water and Dismuke's Famous Water Company) actually marketed "concentrated water" as late as the 1930's.
Not to mention, of course, Crazy Water Crystals, a supposed mineral residuum of the Crazy Well's waters marketed as laxative salts to be added to water (but which FDA analysis found to be a coy repackaging of Glauber's Salts, commonly used in veterinary medicine).
Life can be terrible; life can be wonderful.
